Acne Scar Treatment

I think that it is safe to assume that you have already tried anscars from acne treatment in the past but you want to find acne solutions that will produce more favorable results. I know how it feels to have acne scarring around your face and trying to get rid of acne scars can be tough without the best acne scar treatments.

After you learn how to get rid of acne, the next step is obviously how to get rid of acne scars, and that is where we come in.

Get the Facts

Most of my readers, especially those who have been in touch with me over email know how I gather all my information in regards to acne solutions. I try to do my own research and I also talk with other experts in order to determine the best acne scars home remedies.

But other than home remedies for acne scars, and especially if you are trying to figure out how to get rid of acne scars fast, then you have to consider a specialized acne scar treatment which is what I will talk about today.

Check With the Doc

Many dermatologists recommend will recommend a laser treatment for acne scars. While laser acne scar removal is a proven technique, I personally find that it should be your last acne solution and not your first step to acne free and clear skin.

Furthermore, I feel that I have been in the skin care industry for a long while in order to be able to publish this, so my advice will most likely help. In my personal opinion, the best acne scar treatment should always begin with home remedies for acne scars.

Trial and Error

After you try some of the acne home remedies that work and you try to read about how to get rid of acne scars at home, then you should proceed to trying some natural acne solutions recommended to help with acne scarring.

The last step should be to try more advanced acne scar treatments such as a prescription acne scar cream or acne pills. If none of those work, then you can try things like chemical peels for acne scars or laser acne scar removal. Again, I want you to understand that I am not against any acne scar treatment, because if they didn’t work, then they would have not been around for so long as they have been.

Get Rid of Those Scars

Say goodbye to scars

Say goodbye to scars

I just prefer to use more natural acne scar remedies for getting rid of acne scars, if those don’t seem to work, then by all means you can try other more invasive acne solutions.  The thing is that I always prefer to start slow and then finish fast.

There are many natural acne solutions that work just fine without the need of chemical peels or a laser treatment for acne. I have been talking with many people who tried natural remedies for acne or other non-invasive acne solutions and had great success with them.

So, before you sign up for any kind of acne scar treatment, try to read our guides onhome remedies for acne, and if those acne home remedies are not enough and you need more natural acne remedies then read the related post here.

  1. I could not agree more with you Marian. All your posts about acne are so informational and I love the way you write because I know that it is sincere! I will certainly go down the path you recommend for my acne scar treatment.

  2. Thankfully, I don’t need acne therapy. I’m just looking for products for my sister – her face is a pizza pie. Anyway, I would love to hear more recommendations from the author or the commenters.

  3. As far as acne treatment products go, don’t believe everything you hear. A lot of them are ineffective for some people. You just have to evaluate your situation and your skin and see if you need certain products.

  4. It’s not shocking at all that it doesn’t work for some. People forget that everybody’s skin is different and that you could also have skin that is very sensitive or allergic to some ingredients. This goes for acne scar treatments, as well.

  5. Some of the best acne solutions are natural, but chemicals can work just as well. I like a mixture of both since then I know I am getting the best treatment.

  6. Anyone ever heard of acne vulgaris? At first I thought it was a vulgar term, but it’s just a technical term for acne. Anyway, it occurs most often in adolescence, but can carry on into the forties. So acne must be a disease that deals more with health imbalances than with hormones.

  7. Exactly. I think acne is mostly caused by an improper diet, but like everybody’s skin is different, so are their health problems. All I know is that those who need severe acne treatment have problems that are over the edge.

  8. I’ve tried an acne scar treatment before and was seriously disappointed. It was some cream that I saw on TV, so now I’m a lot more skeptical. Hopefully next time I’ll do more research and find something that’ll work.

  9. I agree with Tanya. Name brands don’t work for every user. And a few zits here and there don’t require you to go out and buy every acne product out there on the market.

  10. Treating acne is easy with a little imagination. My friend and I love to have spa sessions at home and create our own batches of skin care products. The best part is you can use any effective ingredient that will cleanse and soothe your skin for good.

  11. I have had acne for almost 15years now, and have spent a fortune over the years on so many different products,I have lost count. The only thing I have found that worked for me,was a tablet called roaccutane (check the spelling on that) – it was prescribed to me after having a dermatologist appointment. The treatment is harsh, and leaves your skin very dry and cracked around nose and lips as well as the normal parts of your body that usually get dry. I had 1 course for 9 months, and could do with a 2nd, as my face has recently started to get worse again – so I am at present using bio oil which has taken the purple and redness away from my scars, and is helping reduce the appearance of the scars- but I still have some left – I am considering laser treatment, but I am going to try out some of the treatments you suggest to see if any of them make a difference. Even if they don’t at least I am aware of these home remedies now, in case someone else I know needs advice.
